Empowering Young Adults Transitioning from Foster Care to Build Independent, Successful Futures
More Than Housing—A Foundation for Independence and Success
At House of Royale, we believe young adults transitioning from foster care deserve more than just a place to stay—they deserve a home that reflects their worth. Through safe housing, mentorship, and life skills development, we empower youth ages 18–25 to build confidence, stability, and a successful future.
The Need For Support
50% of the homeless population spent time in foster care.
The child welfare system is sometimes described as a highway to homelessness. An estimated 20 percent of young adults who are in care become homeless the moment they’re emancipated at the age of 18. And nationwide, 50% of the homeless population spent time in foster care.
